Paige Baker is an artist born and raised in the south towns where drawing has always been apart of her life. From drawing on school work, trying to sell her drawings at lemonade stands and filling countless sketchbooks; she can’t think of a time where she didn’t draw.

By the time Paige was a teenager she knew she wanted to make art her career. Exploring paths such as graphic design, animation and even going to school for a short time for art education. Paige acknowledges her love for cartoons, anime and character design as what helped to shaped the unique style she has developed.

After entering young adulthood Paige worked a handful of jobs for the next several years; from teachers aide to retail. While working these jobs Paige always had tattooing in the back of her mind but never felt like she knew where to start. She realized she needed to make a choice; settle for a “comfortable” job or take a chance at perusing her dream career. After her fiancés encouragement she decided to quit her full time retail job to focus on creating a tattoo portfolio.

As Paige built her portfolio she learned about the hard work and dedication that comes with the craft. As well as a love and appreciate for the different styles of tattooing and for its history. After a year of compiling a portfolio Paige set out to the streets of Buffalo, NY going into every tattoo shop she could find; wide eyed and eager to learn. Paige eventually stumbled into a shop where she would find her future mentor Krista Reid. As we like to joke - the cat distribution system did what it does best. When Krista least expected it Paige showed up at her door and the rest is history. Paige joined the Sink Or Swim crew in the summer of 2025 as Krista’s apprentice and couldn’t be happier.
