appointments are always preferred to ensure you get your piercing in a timely manner. If you’re looking to get a walk-in piercing, you can stop by the studio and we can still get you that piercing even if you have to wait a little bit first.

FAQs

Who can get a piercing and at what age?

our studio offers all piercings to adults 18 years and up. select piercings are available for minors 13-17 years with a parent or legal guardian present at the time of piercing. if you cannot have a parent/guardian present and both show valid identification (birth certificate, legal guardianship) then unfortunately you cannot get pierced at Sink or swim. Lobes are available for minors 10+ with the same requirements.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

please arrive on time and be ready for your piercing service. that means don’t come on an empty stomach, wear comfortable clothing that allows access to your piercing location, and ensure proper personal hygiene. You will need a physical copy of a Valid ID (license/passport) in order to check in for your appointment. any minor will need some form of ID (school, permit, birth certificate…) and a parent/guardian must be present.

Can you do a dermal?

yes, we offer various surface piercings. since these piercings can have some risks, we advise if you are under 18 you stop in with a parent or guardian to discuss these with our piercer. you can book an appointment using the link and select “dermal/surface”. at your appointment you can discuss your goals and our piercer will answer all your questions.

how much is a _____ piercing?

our pricing structure is designed to allow our piercer to get you exactly what you need, when you need it. the piercing fee you see when you book is for the service you’re requesting. our standard jewelry starts at $30 and aftercare is available also. So while this is a complex question and answer, the best advice is to plan a minimum of $75 for a single piercing, $110 for a pair, $115 for a dermal.

 Booking steps

  • you can use the link to book your service online. new piercing, jewelry change, or downsize to some more comfortable posts or barbells after the initial swelling has subsided. it’s all there for you to pick. if you’re interested in a full curation for your jewelry you can call the shop and speak to our piercer about setting up a private time for their undivided attention.

  • your appointment will be confirmed and you will get an email and text letting you know. the link provided will allow you to reschedule or cancel if something comes up.

  • when your appointment date comes, please arrive on time and be ready for your piercing service. that means don’t come on an empty stomach, wear comfortable clothing that allows access to your piercing location, and ensure proper personal hygiene.   • We offer some amazing aftercare products in the shop that we’re happy to recommend. your post piercing handout will have a ton of information outlined for you to bring hoome. we’re working on an in depth video library of how to properly care for your new piercing. if you ever have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to call us or stop in and we can take a look.

  • downsizing your piercing is an extremely important step and should not be ignored. after you get pierced, our piercer will let you know when you should come back for your downsize and can even schedule it right then. if not you can always book online at your convenience.
