Flash day faq
Flash days are super fun but can also be a little much if youre not used to how things operate at every individual tattoo studio.
So we created this to give you all the information for sink or swim in one place, easy peasy.

Booking steps
-
flash days are always a first come, first served event. the ensure you’re able to get your tattoo we encourage you to be there at the events start time to get youor name on the sign-in sheet.
-
every flash day will have preselected flash tattoos. some are linework only, some are full color, it really depends on the individual event and what the artists have come up with.
-
take some time and find one of the designs you like and that you’re stoked about getting.
-
every flash event that Sink or Swim has will have a sign-in sheet. fill in your name, what design number you want and what the current time is. the rest of the sheet will be filled in by a crew member of SOS.
-
there will be a qr code displayed that you can scan with any smartphone and you can fill it out. you must complete a waiver in order to get your tattoo or piercing. once completed you can relax until your name is called.
-
when your name is called you will confirm your design and let the artist know where you want to get it. flash days are on the arms and legs only unless mentioned otherwise. you’ll head back with your artist and get your flash tattoo.
-
after your tattoo you will head to the crew member up front and pay. flash days are cash only. if the event is a pop up there may be an option for digital payment but do not plan on that unless that is specifically mentioned in the flash announcement.

We offer some amazing aftercare products in the shop that we’re happy to recommend. Also, we’re working on an in depth video library of how to properly care for your new tattoo. but you can still get an aftercare sheet if you’d like, just ask.
