Paige Baker is a tattoo artist born and raised in the Southtowns of Western New York. Art has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. From drawing on schoolwork and trying to sell her artwork at lemonade stands, to filling countless sketchbooks, Paige has always found a way to create. Today, she brings that lifelong passion for drawing into her work as a tattoo artist in the Buffalo area.

As a teenager, Paige knew she wanted to build a career around art. She explored several creative paths, including graphic design, animation, and art education, but her love for cartoons, anime, and character design continued to shape her artistic direction. These influences helped Paige develop the distinctive style she brings to her tattoo work, with a particular appreciation for expressive characters and illustrative artwork.

After spending several years working jobs ranging from teaching assistant to retail, Paige kept tattooing in the back of her mind. She eventually realized that pursuing her dream would require taking a leap of faith. With encouragement from her fiancé, Paige left her full-time retail job and committed herself to building a tattoo portfolio and learning the craft.

That journey introduced Paige to the dedication, patience, and history behind tattooing. As she developed her portfolio, she gained a deeper appreciation for the many different tattoo styles and the artistry behind the craft. After a year of hard work Paige began visiting tattoo shops throughout Buffalo, eager to learn and find a place where she could grow as an artist.

Her search eventually led her to tattoo artist and mentor, Krista Reid. As the Sink Or Swim crew likes to joke, the cat distribution system did what it does best. When Krista least expected it, Paige showed up at her door — and the rest is history.

Paige joined the Sink Or Swim crew in the summer of 2025 as Krista’s apprentice and has been continuing to grow her skills and develop her voice as a tattoo artist ever since. She is especially inspired by anime, cartoons, character design and illustrative art, and she loves creating tattoos that allow her clients to bring the characters and artwork they love to life.

Based in Western New York, Paige is excited to continue building her career as a Buffalo tattoo artist while learning, creating, and sharing her artwork with her clients.
