Iggy has quite the life story. he joined the Marine corps after a brief homeless period, completed a few deployments, and departed the marines in 2014. he had been involved in multiple business ventures post military career when he came to sink or swim and met Keith kuzara for a tattoo. after becoming fast friends with Keith and Shannon , he started collecting more artwork from them both. Iggy came in for a tattoo one day and met his now wife, Jenn, who was getting a tattoo from shannon. Iggy and jenn then traveled the country together living out of a van that they built for #vanlife. Iggy made the decision to propose at sink or swim with a tattoo and y’all know she said yes! after traveling for over a decade, Iggy and jenn moved back to western new york where the kuzaras asked Iggy to join them at the shop and be their piercer.
Iggy brings a deep passion for artistry to the Sink or Swim team in Western New York. To master his craft, Iggy completed a rigorous professional piercing apprenticeship under the highly experienced Brooke and Loran Shumway. Loran has over 2o years of experience and has traveled the world performing piercings and body modifications under the tutelage of world renowned artists. Brooke has been running the front of house for almost 2 decades and knows everything there is to know about the industry. together they have passed that knowledge onto Iggy. on rare occasions, you can find Iggy Outside the studio. he is an avid angler and loves to travel for fishing trips. he and Jenn are both foodies and travel internationally as often as they can to experience new cuisine. When not fishing or traveling, he’s thinking about fishing or traveling.

Iggy has also done a few tattoos on himself and others but he is by no means any good at it.
Iggy is a frequent world traveler and has been to 46 states, and 25 countries. he uses these experiences to learn about new cultures, and better understand everyone and their lives.
as an avid angler Iggy makes it a point to fish as often as possible and makes sure to take every opportunity to travel and catch fish. he primarily fly fishes and ties flies in his spare time.
